What the requirements mean

Meeting minimum requirements means compatibility, not guaranteed smooth performance in crowded cities or large battles. Leave additional disk space for unpacking and patches, close unnecessary background applications, and use a wired connection when practical.

A safe launch-day setup

Choose native resolution

Lower render scale before making the interface blurry through a non-native display mode.

Set a realistic frame cap

A stable cap often feels better than constant swings.

Reduce expensive effects first

Start with shadows, effects density, reflections, and distant detail when performance drops.

Keep combat readable

Preserve mechanic visibility and important player effects even on lower presets.

Troubleshooting order

Restart the client, check official server status, update graphics drivers, disable unnecessary overlays, verify game files, lower one setting group at a time, and record whether the issue happens everywhere or only in crowded content.

Do not download “FPS boosters,” modified clients, or unofficial DLL files. They can create security and account risks.

Controller, Steam Deck and language support

NC's September 30 Launch FAQ states that official support covers Windows PC through Steam and PURPLE. Controllers may be used but are not officially supported. Linux and Steam Deck are not officially supported.

Voice-over supports English, Japanese and Korean. UI and subtitles support English, French, German, Spanish (Spain), Portuguese (Brazil), Russian, Japanese and Korean. Open the top-right gear icon in game, then the language tab to choose a language.
